Golf Pride Grips on eBay

I bought fakes inadvertently in the past . I was messaged by another buyer who had also been duped. Fortunately the seller was up front and said he didn't know, providing me with a full refund.

I left them on for a few rounds and only detected they were not genuine when they began to fade and the colours ran. I now stick to Gamola as the fakes are rife and so hard to detect.

I had a bad experience a few weeks back.

Here's my take after reordering from Gamola.

Material thickness is different. Good one on left. Fake on right.

Pattern on grips do not match ay the seam.

Pattern began the grips is completely wrong. Small circles instead of rough patch.

Noticeable difference in the font used at the butt of the grip. Good left bad right.

Also when installed a small amount of white spirit got onto the grip and completely striped the colour.

Definitely. Plenty of places to get legit grips. Buy once, buy right. Has to be cheaper than getting done on e-bay and having to then buy another set from a legitimate retailer

Bought a set of Black Widow grips off ebay that were so skinny you could feel the lumps in the grip tape .
