I know golf insurance has been covered many times on here. In fact it was due to reading stuff on here that I decided to go with GolfPlan..however....
I went for their cover that is upto £2000. Then you have list all of your equipment, which I duly did. This came to a total of £2304.
They then came back to me and said they would not ensure my Go Kart Trolley and Bushnell Rangefinder as those items take it over the £2000. But, I could go for the next level of insurance at £2500 and they would be covered.
I said...
Ok, lets keep it at the £2000 level and I fully understand that I will not get paid out more than this sum but I would like the aforementioned items to be part of the cover. Often I'm not carrying my water proofs or using my Go Kart, so it is more than likely that if my bag did get stolen/lost there would not be more than £2000 worth of gear in it.
Seems reasonable to me ??
But, they will not go for this and it seems I have to go for the full ( Executive ) cover at £95, instead of £65
Odd.
