Stirling Golf Club is good but a few miles away is Glenbervie which would be my choice but then again your not that far away from Gleneagles

I really enjoyed Glenbervie when I played there in summer.

If you want a round at Stirling, I'd be happy to sign you on as a guest (Circa £18 I think).
Glenbervie is also a lovely course, and Gleneagles which speaks for itself is not far away!

There's lots of descent and reasonably priced courses within a few miles.

Auchterarder is right next to Gleneagles and well worth a look. I think Glenbervie is a better course but there are often deals on offer at Auchterarder from a well-known tee booking site.

27 holes at Muckhart, Dunblane is decent, Dunkeld is ok for a round, Stirling is fine, Auchterarder is a great fun track. Crieff isn't too far away and well worth the green fee.
