Golf Monthly #1 selling Golf Magazine in the Uk!

Well done GM, Mike and the team.

I used to buy GM and GW, havent bought GW for years now and only subscribe to GM and I'm known for my attention to quality. Keep up the good work

I have only been subscribed a while now but after reading some other golf mags I am so glad I am subscribed to GM, by far the best on the market. Well done guys!

Evening all

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for your kind words on this thread started by Naybrains.

It really does mean a lot to us to read positive feedback and kind words from the people whose are ultimately the judges of what we do – you lot! Our readers, our customers

Like in any walk of life you always aim to be the best and the GM team have worked really hard to produce what I believe is the best golf content out there.

However one of the biggest strengths we have is having you all on hand giving us constant detailed feedback into what you like and don’t like about what we do and offering us a living, breathing insight into what makes ‘real’ golfers tick.

The bottom line is you inspire what we do and without your support of Golf Monthly – be it buying the mag, contributing to the forum or following us on our social media channels – we wouldn’t have made it to our 101[SUP]st[/SUP] year of publishing and wouldn’t be off to drink major amounts of ale to celebrate taking top spot again.

Bloomin eck I'm welling up.......;)

Congrats to all at GM Towers

Congrats to all the Golf Monthly team, and don't forget, the No1 Golf Forum too!! :whoo:

Not too much tonight guys, you have a magazine to write tomorrow!

Oh......it's probably too late now.

Well done Mike and team. Looked at the figures on twitter earlier and there wasn't a huge difference between GM and Todays Golfer in terms of volume but in terms of quality its like Dickens against the Beano

Well done to all involved in what truely is a great magazine.
I for one look forward to it dropping on my hallway floor.
As with all things no1,the hard work starts now, staying there.
Heres to a bigger and better mag.

I pass the Today's Golfer offices in Peterborough every day. Do you want me to drop in a card congratulating them on second place from all on the GM Forum.

I was really getting into your post Mike, feeling quite chuffed to be a small factor in the success of GM, then you threw in the major amounts of ale bit at the end!!! some of us have work in the morning so cant have a snifter, so unfair ;)

Well done guys, definitely well deserved. Quality magazine - just about keeps me sane between games.

The mag deserves the top spot alone but when you add in the amount of work you guys put back into the golfing community ranging from this forum, GM matches, competititions, support for clubs, support for the handicap system and the amateur game ...I could go on... it all adds up to one fantastic package and is why you are at the top where you belong.

have a pint on me:cheers:

Couldnt have said it better myself. The sheer amount of work put into competitions, experience days and all else outside the offices is just great. In the olden days a mag was just a mag, GM raised the bar.
