I'm sure this has been debated on here many times before, but what I want to know is:

A) Is it worth getting
B) If so, who's the best to go with.

I know a lot of companies will only replace your golf clubs if they are less than 3 years old, mine are pre owned G10's and more than likely older than 3 years but I'm more worried about other things I own like my Go Kart and Bushnell.

It is definitley worth getting for the Medical, Legal and Hole in One cover. Your clubs can be replaced fairly easily but if you injure someone then it costs alot more than a new set of clubs. The hole in one cover is there to give me hope......

I am with Golf Plan but I am not sure if I am going to stay with them. Will shop around

I am also with Golf Plan for exactly the same reasons as Captainiron, it's not the golf clubs so much as the risk of hurting someone and being sued!

Golf Plan seem to be the only company who offer everything you need from insurance, a lot of the other although cheaper have some weird policies like you're equipment isn't insured between 10pm and 8am....isn't insured if it's left unattended etc.

I plumped for Carrick Neil for this reason, as they told me that your clubs are covered in your car even if they are uncovered, as long as the car was locked. Previous policies did not cover between those hours if you left your clubs in the car overnight at all.
As Homer stated they will cover your equipment in club lockers, which a few I looked at did not.

would you drive a car without insurance!!! so why is it a big thing NOT to have insurance when hitting a projectile at over a hundred miles an hour in close proximity to others? i think it should be compulsory that every golfer should have some form of cover i myself have been struck at least 4 times by wayward shots and non i'm glad to say caused me much harm but what if they did,you can bet your last penny i would be suing the are of who ever hit the ball.

If the boot was on the other foot I'd love to take you for every penny then! Welcome to America.
