Golf in Wiltshire Warminster/ Salisbury areas

Any recommendations of any good courses nearby?

Looking to stay at CentreParcs end of Sep but will need some Golf therapy at some point to keep my sanity and plan to tunnel out.

West Wilts (warminster) Salisbury & South Wilts, High Post (Salisbury) Kingdown (bath) Wrag Barn (Swindon) Bowood (chippenham) Tidworth, my home club Upavon which is a downland course on a hillside, with some of the best views in wiltshire. Hope this helps if you want to play my course maybe arrange a date would not cost as i am current club captain.

As Moonraker says plenty of choice depending on how far you want to travel.

My personal favourite would be Tidworth , but you cant go wrong with Salisbury (right on the race course btw).

Let us know your travel distance and we could recommend better after that

We aren't overly blessed with stunning courses around this area.

Agree with others and would add:

Cumberwell Park
Bath (Shams Castle)
Mendip

Or, an hours trek and a bit more cash will get you a special day @ Remedy Oak

Salisbury is my home track, so I'm going to say try it out, it’s a lovely course and very friendly and about 22 miles from CentreParcs.

Another course I play a lot, is Rushmore, again very nice and about 25 miles, but you could do it in 25 min’s no problem.
