Had nothing from Nairn yet to confirm or deny 4 balls, but had an email from the Kings saying it was allowed but they could not implement until the 17th as the tees times up till then were already bookings in them...They use BRS and it also went on to say could people booking be more considerate in booking until then and only book two times as week they as there were still people unable to get times:LOL:

Scottish Golf announced the reintroduction of four-balls yesterday around 5pm and by 7pm we had an email from the club advising us of the news. Within an hour of the email our booking system was altered to allow fourballs. I don't know which system our club uses, but we can now add our names to existing two balls and already this Saturday looks pretty fully booked.

Bit complicated at our place as we are less than two miles from the County boundary - So only Angus residents can play in groups made up of more than two households - Dundee and Tayside residents can have four balls as well at our place but only made up of people from two households or less. They've said that they will be checking how groups are made up.

Seeing some fun emails about groups and tee time intervals flying around today. It's almost like it's a bit of predictable shambles caused by a lack of notice.

All that allowed while we in Ireland are still closed! Add to that there will be no decisions made until next “review” which is around the 5/6th April!

Courses in Ireland are now officially the longest closed golf courses in the world!

And in the south the way the vaccine rollout is going (or not going) I fear we may get open for a short time and closed again!

Blame your government.

Would expect a smallish island like Ireland would be low in cases by now. How's it going over there?

Oh we all do blame the government! Absolutely useless through this whole thing and it really feels like golf has been made a scapegoat of!

Cases and numbers in hospitals have started to come down but the new strains are apparently just starting to kick in over here so god knows where we will be in couple of weeks!

A lot of towns and villages here in Donegal are still on vaccinations for the over 85s!!

That's the EU for you. What you need to do is leave and it will solve a lot of problems with the UK too. ??

Crikey. Has the EU deal held you back?
