thanks lads

Along the same lines does anyone have advice/tips about protecting your clubs etc and what to be wary of on a golf holiday? Me and a mate are off to Spain at the end of March and neither of us have ever been on a golf holiday before.

Just come back frrom Gran Canaria stayed just outside Puerto Rico (very family orientated ) flight was only 4 hours from Newcastle and got it dead cheap with Thomas Cook £125 return and they only charge £20 for your golf clubs.Played a course 5 mins away in a taxi (4 euros ).

The course was Anfi Tauro championship simply fantastic course and the BEST greens ive ever played. If you play at sunrise (before 9am ) OR twilight (after 3pm ) there is a HUGE reduction in green fees.

So everything is handy for the family and golf and guarenteed superb weather.

Andy: I bought a polyurethane golf club carrier that doubles up into a golf carry bag for the course.I paid £60 for it on E BAY but I consider it well worth it,as it actually locks.Everything went smoothly taking my clubs abroad as I had been apprehensive beforehand.

Cheers Kev
