There are thousands of gadgets and accessories out there.

What sort of gadgets and trinkets do you have in your golf box or bag?

A v-easy which is very busy at the moment trying to sort out my chipping action

Tour sticks as I am having issues with alingment and in particular my left shoulder and feet being very closed to where I think I'm going and so everything is actually aiming well right of target

Pathfinder putting system. A mirror and some pins to promote a better back and through stroke (don't hit any pins). Ideal for winter work at home especially the 3-6 footers

Some target circles which I use when chipping and putting to give me some degree of leeway on longer putts and chips

A powerband. A piece of elastic that goes over the arms and helps keep everything together on the swing. Ideal if you tend to have a bit of a chicken wing scenario going on with a flying elbow

Powerball. A foam ball with a groove on each side. Designed to promote the arms working together.

I have these mad looking strap things, I put one one each shoulder and it means I can carry the bag without the need fo rthe akwardness of a trolley! ;) I think it might catch on.

Homer, that is a lot of clobber. Which of those do you find most useful?

They've all served a purpose but without trying to fawn to the great man the V-Easy has definitely helped the most for short chips and putting. The circles are great when I'm doing a lot of longer putting and chipping drills to give a visual awareness and so they are often used as are the tour sticks for alignment. When I go on the practice ground I use to get very lazy with the basics and old habits have/are creeping back and I'm aiming right of target and so these are really helpful. I use them as a train track to make sure club and idiot are both aligned properly

The ball and the powerband were bought a few seasons back as part of a big swing change I was working on over the winter of 2007/8. I still use the powerband from time to time but the ball wasn't a huge success.

A leadbetter swing trainer, bought many moons ago. Has training grip and two magnetic balls which moveabout when you swing with adjustable resistance. Didn't really help to be honest. I use it now to warm up with as it's heavier than a normal club! May have to get a v easy though! Like homer I suffer from alignment mainly shoulders aiming to the right!

Being of a certain age, I have a golf butler on the end of my putter - the gizmo for picking up your ball when you've holed out. Unfortunately it's in the bag as it fell off and is in the depths of the bag and can't be arsed to empty the bag and tip it out - so I'll buy another.

My GPS is my only gadget, training aid or anything similar. Just have tees, balls and clubs in my bag.

Mind you, tidied my bag this evening and thought I had just been chucking in the odd new ball to start comps with. Found that I had accumulated 27 balls in various states in my bag.
