Golf courses in race courses

So ave had a drive from ludlow to ironbridge and drove through ludlow race course. That in itself was odd but the Ludlow golf course looked quite nice. There's another in side the course at southwell., but am informed by the locals it is rammel.
Any decent golf courses Inside race courses.

I've played Kelso golf course which is inside the race course but I don't think I would call it decent. It's pretty flat and boring. And as some of the rough is also part of the course, it can be pretty thick. Not deep, just very thick so a ball can be lost surprisingly easily.

Beverley is on common land and has a 'gallop' running round it. The racecourse is across the road

Great Yarmouth and Caister golf club has several holes within or alongside the race course. It's a pretty decent links course if you're into that sort of golf.

Hereford has got a 9 hole but not 8n great condition when we played there in a league match few weeks ago. Shame as it was good track 20 years ago

Never played at any of them

Wincanton has a course in the centre of the race course, Sandown Course Esher and the old Ascot Club was in the centre of the race course.

One of the holes at East Brighton runs close to the racecourse and you walk across the track at Lingfield to get from one side of the course to the other.

I played Musselburgh Links, The Old Course a few years ago.

I haven't played it but Northumberland GC is inside Newcastle race course, Gosforth. Expensive and posh by all accounts.

There is another course directly outside the race course, Parklands, but Northumberland is actually inside it.

I remember landing at Bangkok airport and being amazed to see people playing golf next to the runway. It's actually between the runways!
I never managed to play it though.

Many years ago I did a couple of weeks training in Newbury. Didn't know anyone and the rest were driving in & out each day. Sure there was a golf course with the race course, probably wasn't great but it beat evenings in a hotel room.

Belton Woods, Grantham. The Woods course is on the outside of the Lakes course.

Just nattering wi missis T and years ago mansfield had a small golf course where the dogs used to race..The course was called the "racecourse"

fond memories of Oadby golf course (not there anymore), half of it was inside Leics racecourse, used to go there to play when at Uni in Loughborough. Had my first HIO there too with one of the worst shots youll see haha
