Hello Guys,

I have just recently moved to Harrow and in the process of deciding on which course to join,
can anyone please recommend a course around Middlesex area!?

much appreciated,

Craig

Welcome to the forum

A lot will depend on whether you have a car and how far you want to travel / how much you want to spend.

The 3 most local I expect are Stanmore, Northwood and Pinner Hill, further afield you could head south to Ealing or Sudbury or if you head North/West then you have the likes of Sandy Lodge and Moor Park. If you dont mind going even further then there are literally loads of decent options.

Both Stanmore and Pinner Hill are well established members clubs to my knowledge, Pinner used to have a reputation for being a tad on the snobby side, albeit I havent played either for many a year.

Of those Ive mentioned I expect Ealing may be top of my list (it would be Moor Park but that I expect is too pricy), though someone who has played them more recently may be able to give better guidance as to condition of the various courses

Cheers Fundy....

Been checking Reviews but more local knowledge i find is always better as some may of only played the course once and had one off bad experience and leave negative reviews.

Been looking at Stanmore & Ealing which are the stand out two for me at the moment... Will have to play a round on both to see which I prefer.

Cheers for your Advice.

I play ealing and pinner often as a guest and there both top courses but pinner is my favourite because of the location. At ealing your always playing against a main road, plus pinner is about a 5-10 minute drive from harrow also yo need to be a very long hitter of the tee at ealing.

Grims Dyke is indeed worth checking out. A bit short for some perhaps, but no pushover - evil greens!

Batchworth Park should be on the list if considering Moor Park or Northwood (which had a TV program - The Club - made about it many years ago).

Finchley should also be considered - many James Braid traits still pretty obvious.
