Kington is proud to be the highest course in England.
Yet Alston Moor is higher.
Whatever, you are probably looking at a long round of up to 4 hours.
Are the greens still wired off to keep away the sheep?
I'd rather walk up the golf course hill (Rushock Hill) and Hergest Ridge along Offa's Dyke Path than play there.

What don't you like about Kington?

Bransford GC is around 20 miles from The Herefordshire and very good with Societies. Lots of lakes and interesting.

Ross on Wye is a very nice golf course and fairly near but may be a bit expensive, worth a call.
