Question to golf players :) What golf course are you playing on and will you recommend it for beginners? There are some interesting ones: https://zoptamo.com/uk/s-golf-c-uk-place but there are also no opinions and that’s why there is question for recommendation. Alternatively u can recommend sth form list that is attached.

Hey up Boozy and welcome to the forum, had a quick look on that site and would deffo not use it. Some of the courses look nice and others are where I would take my 4 yr old grandson for a knock about. There is not set standard to that list of courses, ie what you get at one course you don't another.
Yes I would recommend my course for someone wanting to get into golf, it has roll up lessons for all ages and sexes. An 18 hole course and 9 hole par three course.

Most places are welcoming, par 3 and public courses are great places to start or just hack around for fun.

Near me we have Kingsway Golf centre, a course attached to a driving range. We also have an amazing par 3 called Cambridge
lakes which my wee tot WILL attend from his 3rd birthday.

OK, thank you for good words and advices here, they are really priceless :D
My course would be far to difficult for a beginner it's hilly and very long.
you should go for a flat wide open ( no rough) course until you learn to play to a realistic standard.
i would say this is if you can hit the ball reasonably well six out of ten.
you don't have to be tiger just think of the others playing the course.
some players have unrealistic targets when they take up golf but it takes time and patience then you will really enjoy yourself.
Have some lessons to get the basics right and then just practice
enjoy it.
