I have tried doing a search but can't seem to find anything. I seem to remember people recommending a book about the mental side of golf. The reason I am looking is one of my usual playing partners really loses their head if their playing bad and may have some anger issues. Does anyone know any good books that will help with this side of the game?

Thanks

best book I had as a kid and still refer to it is John Jacobs practical golf John Jacobs practical golf

I DEFY anyone not to easily understand and benefit from this book, it helped me go from 18 to 5 in one season and no lessons ever!
had loads of lessons now as its got harder now- thanks for the post I'm going to dig out my copy tonight for a refresher

Golf is not a game of perfect by Bob Rotella
Zen golf by Joseph Parent
The inner game of tennis (I know!) by Tim Galwey (sp?)

I didn't know there was an Inner game of golf. If it's by the same guy as the tennis one I'd recommend it.

It's all stuff you'd say "Yeah I know that" but it's amazing how many people don't follow it and suffer as a result.
