golf balls

I would rather support my local club pro and buy my equipment from them. I recently replaced my woods and my local pro did a better deal than American Golf without any haggling. AG did say they would match any price, but refused to supply them with midsize grips at that price. If they can't quote their best price straight away I won't use them.
If you don't support your local pro, you will loose him!

Have to agree with some of what you say. Would be happy to use my pro more but he only stocks Titleist and Ping clubs and Titleist balls. If there was more selection of the sort of gear that I like then I would more than happily use them for more purchases.

Not really as simple as that is it, I find most Pro's stock limited in products and most charge for custom fitting and you only get it free if you buy from them.

Pro's need to be realisic in their prices and if not then they will close due to their own greed as we all know what discounts they get for bulk buying from sales reps.

Titleist tour prestige was their top ball before the ProV, but the name has since been hijacked and used on a cheaper, 2 piece ball for sale in the US through dicount retailers. You can buy them in the UK through american cash and carrys, like Costco. Ball is ok, bit like a pts solo.
