They seem to be part of an outfit called The Sports HQ, who offer basically the same deals on everything you see on that golfballs.co.uk site. You can see the similarities at e.g. http://www.thesportshq.com/mens-golf-balls--new.aspx. I don't know if The Sports HQ are reputable or not either though, so that really doesn't help you much. I don't know why I bothered posting, really!

Hmmmm, weird. If I click on the link in this post, it takes me to a page showing their whole range of golf equipment but if I cut and paste it into the address bar of my browser, it takes me to a page showing their range of balls only (which is what I was trying to link to in the first place). Just saying, is all. :)

I've used the sports HQ, they are reputable and were quite quick too.

They mainly deal in randomly discount branded (texan, prosimmon, confidence) clubs and gear, but occasionally have stock of some really enticing deals.

Never heard of Titleist Tour Prestige before, any good?

The Tour Prestige ball was, I think and am willing to be corrected, a newer version of the old Tour Balata from the 90's before all the balls went multi layer. Its a wound ball - it has a rubber core and miles of rubber band wound around it to bulk it up then a cover is put on top. Supposed to be more durable than a Tour Balata but nowhere near a Prov1

If these balls have been stored they will be well past their best. Wound balls tend to deteriorate after a couple of years.

I have used them before too. I can confirm that I received my items very, very quickly (two days later I think) and they were of good quality.

The Srixon "Soft Feel" are a very good ball, but I've seen them cheaper than that elsewhere to be honest.

I think the Srixon's are so cheap as I believe they are launching a new model for 2009

I saw something about that on the main GM site earlier but I can't find it now. Its called the Z-Star or somethinglike that. I'm quite happy to buy Z-URS's cheap for a few months.

I couldn't find it either and thought maybe I had misread something. Pretty sure it is the ZStar and is a new premium range ball. I think the URC and URS are ok but prefer the TP black. I might give a sleeve of 3 a go (unless GM want me to test them) just to see what they are like.

I would rather support my local club pro and buy my equipment from them. I recently replaced my woods and my local pro did a better deal than American Golf without any haggling. AG did say they would match any price, but refused to supply them with midsize grips at that price. If they can't quote their best price straight away I won't use them.
If you don't support your local pro, you will loose him!

can you remember where as I like them.

I bought mine from here
http://www.golfballs.gg/shop/product/Srixon-Soft-Feel.aspx

I could have sworn I paid slighty less than this, but they could have put their prices up recently.
It's a little bit of a saving (I think).
Nice ball, fly well off the club and feel very good on the greens

Not really as simple as that is it, I find most Pro's stock limited in products and most charge for custom fitting and you only get it free if you buy from them.

Pro's need to be realisic in their prices and if not then they will close due to their own greed as we all know what discounts they get for bulk buying from sales reps.
