Are there any golf balls that give you a similar feel to Pro V1 balls on the greens, my daughter loves Pro V1s on the greens & that they just stop, unlike her 2 piece balls but everyone tells her she doesn't have the swing speed for them, even though I don't really think she loses any distance against 2 piece balls, Ive looked at the Bridgestone RXS but the reviews are not really what i've been told. She hates the Srixon AD333 but recently started saying the Pro V1 felt a little hard on iron shots, not sure if shes listening to others as shes never mentioned this before, she has a swing speed of 79 with irons, can't remember woods, but on both the trackman said the ball was coming off the clubface at 100mph

I have gone back to using Wilson Staff DX3 from the Bridgestone B330 and B330S.

Now I'm not pretending they are a ProV1 but, for me, they are an exceptional all round ball and the best feeling from the putter of any I've tried.

They scuff up a bit due to the fact the dimples are a bit weird but at less than half the price of the ProVs I can handle that.

thats one for the list, thanks. The Bridgestone RXS are price wise just as expensive as Pro Vs, so will probably eliminate then now.

Shes does like the Srixon Soft Feel, but can't get it to stop like she can with a Pro V, its a dilemma, good tee shots but not so good around the green, or good around the green & risk a few wayward sidespin shots. Just looking at an old ball the TM TP Red, says it has a lower compression, i'm starting to think a golf ball fitting if we have anything like that near us is in order lol

The DX3 spins a lot more than the srixon soft feel i find. Again I wouldn't expect the same spin as a ProV though....

I found a penta tp and boshed that around a few holes the other night and was OK, need to be careful on the swing speed with the way it works though as if it's pretty slow I think you end up getting the "spin" rather than "distance" layer.

Heard nothing bad about the Wilson FG tours so have 3 ready to give a whirl.

I am struggling with touch around the greens and spin control with my srixon AD-333s. I tried out a ProV1s and improved significantly, tried the Z-Stars and did the same.

I know I need a better ball but those two are expensive, hopefully the FG tours will do well, if they do then they could be my new best friends!

Another vote for Wilson FG Tours.

However, as soon as I get through my Callaway HX Bites, I've 3 dozen DX3's to start on... got them for a silly price and they do seem very good indeed.
