I am just posting to say how wonderful the customer care is of Gokart. On FRiday the control speed went I rang up and spoke to Sandy who said they would arrange a courier etc to drop another trolley and pick up mine. I then mentioned it was a shame as I was in Margate on sunday going right past the door. She said what time I told her and she arranged to meet me at Gokart this we duly did and swapped trolleys over.
A pleasant chat and apology and away we both went the after sales service you cant fault and I would recomend this pleasant and wonderfull company.

Whilst I dont own a GoKart, I do plan to purchase one once the clicgear trolleys gives up the ghost!

GoKart have been very generous with some charity events I have arranged and for that I can not thank them enough. I know they are thought very highly of on the forum and because of stories like yours I will definitely be buying one in the near future.
 
GoKarts customer service seems to be better than most.
But am I the only one seeing an increasing number of problems with all power trolleys?
I can't quote numbers, but there have been many posts about a GoKart going wrong and being replaced immediately, PK's going wrong etc etc etc.

These power trolleys don't seem to be very reliable.

I don't think that's true, it's the nature of electronics/mechanics that a certain percentage will go wrong.
Something very complicated like an xbox has a failure rate of almost 40%. The Wii in comparison has a low failure rate of about 10%.
As for trolleys unlike cars we do post when it has gone wrong (we seem to accept that a car will break down occasionally, but not for trolleys for some reason?)
I'm betting that GoKart has a far lower initial failure rate than it's competitor (Judging by the posts I've seen)
And once you accept that a small percentage will inevitably develop a problem, then knowing excellent customer service is available is a great relief.

You cannot deny their customer services are second to none but it still looks awful.

Yeh, agree with that...aaaannnddd....customer care at powakaddy, well, I've never needed it. :D

just as well - I don't think they have any :rolleyes:
