Been completely lost with my pitching and short game in general since the end of last year. 1001 thoughts in my head, trying to incorporate every piece of advice and, in reality, not having a clue what I was doing.

So was really interested to have a look at the short game app that GM have produced. It's helped clear all the crap and mixture of ideas that were running round my head. I had the ball too far back, too much weight on left side, too much shaft lean....all together meant I was having to either fall back to my right side to give me room or hold the face straight by pushing the back of my left hand straight at the target.

So the middle stance, no shaft lean seemed to fit for me, worked well on the practice ground so this morning became its first outing under some degree of "pressure" - 1st round of singles knockout. Had 5 opportunities to use it during an easy 8&7 win and got it up & down 4 out of the 5 times. Confidence boosting start with these tips on board.

Nice one GM another fantastic offering to your readers:)

A man of your quality mate,it was only a matter of time.
When are we going to see you again at a forum meet?
Im glad you chipping games come back,i bought my Tour s
off the back of your recommendation.

yes its a good app, the chipping tips are similar style to master Luke and has stopped me digging in and flipping at the ballgood app GM, TY

Quality app from what I've seen so far, looking forward to trying out some of the bunker tips. Also, knowing ball position and weight distribution for uphill and downhill lies while chipping will prove invaluable. Top drawer, thanks.

Just downloaded this on the iPad.

Looks fantastic. I'm on the hunt for something similar regarding shooting off the tee.

Managed to take some of the tips from this app for a test at the driving range this morning. For somebody just learning the game it was absolutely fantastic. Watched the three lessons on pitching, the steps are easily digestible and work great.

I also took on what a few guys were saying about the driving range, I decided to treat my 50 balls as a mock round, took one of the tee, then a five iron followed by a pitch. Great little concept that made me concentrate on every shot.

Massive thanks to guys that put the app together. Could anybody recommend something similar for driving?
