Got the latest GM today and it's all about drivers and power hitters so those only averaging 298 yards will have a chance. They also feature a lot of the new drivers for 2011 from all the manufacturers and so there is plenty to mull over it you want to hit it big and buy a new big dog to do it.

Dare i say it but its in the shops up here but mine has not been delivered yet. Beginning to get a bit worried now as there is no snow etc so if its not here by Friday I will be on the phone.

Even had to resort to going and buiyng a copy of (dare i say it - TG) to keep my ticking over while i am waiting for mine.

Anyone else not got theirs yet ?

Mine hasn't shown
I went to the IPC subscription site and got my subscription extended by a month. So I'm off to the shops tomorrow to get mine.

Unless it comes in the morning of course......

Nothing here either. Will give it until the weekend and if no show then will be on the phone Monday morning.

Loving the driver coverage this month as I am in the market for one but are they doing a follow up on the guys who went to the Belfry? It would be good if they caught up with them in six months to see if they had stuck to the regimen and gained any yards.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the short game special!

Liked the article on union subs but felt the EGU could have made a stronger case than we're cheap compared to other sports.

Main problem is I now desperately want to play the Beau Desert meet but the meets always seem to take place on the days HID has the car for work. Pants.

I imagine it was done a few weeks back so you could PM the guys and see how they've got on

Am I in it?

...surely the wrong subject...

..wrong month?..

Yes Dave we're in this months issue.

I must say it is nice to have something written down to remind you what you keep doing wrong :p

Not really had a chance to play much in order to put things into practice.
But this weekend when I hit them well they certainly travelled.

Well the advice given by James was to strengthen my grip and keep my head down and it is certainly working for me. The keeping the head down was a real problem for me and had been identified by my club Pro

After spending some time on the range and a couple of frustrating rounds in December I went out last Thursday and had a good round and on Monday I shot one of my best rounds to date which was 97 which matches my handicap.

I wouldn’t say I’m hitting the ball further but I am hitting the ball more consistently and straighter which means I’m maximising the distance I get and as a consequence I’m scoring better.

I’ve still a way to go, I need to get my right wrist active as suggested by James and my club Pro, but I am going in the right direction.

Oh and by the way GM managed to spell my surname wrong ... it's Chrismas without the 'T' :o

There is a certain Arscott member featured (looking a few pounds over his fighting weight)

I think you'll find being on camera adds about 2 stone! :o

Seriously, I'm glad the photos didn't show anything too horrific (not my appearance, but my swing?! :D)

Funny you should say that, my wife wondered about this.

I wondered why she was looking at your photo not mine!
