A bit of local info for you...

If anyone is planning to use the M6 motorway to get to Beau desert then be aware that in the morning between J12 and J7 it is normally a nightmare both north and southbound. Allow extra time due to traffic.

I was looking at different ways to go without touching the M6, but I think it's all going to be as bad as each other. The A5 is the only other option I can see from the East but I guess that's bad in rush hour as well.

Might just go before the traffic gets too bad and have an extra hour on the putting green

There's always the toll road which gets you near??? A5 will be busy yeah. To be honest it's rush hour around the west mids... Doesn't matter where you are it's busy!!

I'll be doing what your idea is and get there early.

WS11 2GF is the closest one.
On an industrial estate, between the motorway and the course. Just under 3 miles away.
