Getting sick of drying out all my gear

Wet clubs, bag, shoes, head covers, gloves, grips.....almost dislocated a finger on my right hand when my wedge slipped out of my hands last Friday.
When are we going to get some dry weather and sunshine?? I seems like everytime you go out you come back wet.

I usually say you have to play on bad days to make you appreciate the good days more but it's starting to feel like groundhog day.

Two bags (one carry one trolly) two sets of waterproofs, 16 pairs of shoes and even two sets of club should monsoons arrive. Nothing like being prepared for a British summer

My waterproofs are about 20 years old. It's just crept up - I thought I'd only bought them recenty and when I thought about it I realised that it was 1992 when I bought them. Played in the rain a few days ago and my trousers were soaked. The top has turned absorbent but it doesn't let the rain in. I can't bring myself to spend £200 on GG or something like that as I need a roof top box for my new car before we go on summer hols.............

I wear swimming shorts and an old t shirt under my wet weather gear if it's going to be shocking weather for the whole round. Buying another pair of shoes in a couple of weeks so they have more time to dry out naturally. The wife has given up and cleared a shelf in the airing cupboard for my gear to go on.

make sure to dry those clubs. i noticed my 8 iron beginning to rust today. not happy

I'm getting the same and have a routine.

Clubs, head covers off, wash down and rubbed with a towel then a little WD40 applied to the club head and into the cavity then a wipe round with kitchen roll. All then placed into my spare bag. Head covers onto the radiator.

Main bag emptied of rubbish and set beside a radiator with all pockets open.

Wet gloves attached to coat hanger by the velco and hung under the stairs after first ensuring the fingers aren't turned inside out etc.

Shoes wiped down and stuffed with paper then hung under the stairs.

Gokart hosed down and wheels taken off, left to dry on the carry case.

Wee spray of WD40 on the battery terminals and excess removed with kitchen roll then on to charge.

Wet gear wiped down and hung on hangers. Umbrella shaken out and left in shower room.

Then collapse on the coach.

I have bought a bag cover and used four out my last five games. Bag stays dry and I don't have empty it at home. Saves a lot of work. Means spare towels are easy to keep dry and clubs can be dried between shots.

I've just bought one too but haven'y used it yet.

I don't mind playing in the rain but hate the aftermath!

played in monsoon thursday everything dry, best piece of kit ive bought in a while
