getting dirt out...

Are you sure its dirt and not a bit of swingweight or the araldite solution holding the head on. The only way I know to get anything out from inside the shaft is to take the grip off, turn the club upside down to remove the foreign body and regrip the club

I discovered today that there was dirt (or something simliar???) inside the shaft of my lob wedge. It's really annoying hearing it slide down as i get to the follow through!
Is there any way of getting it out besides taking off the grip? (or clubhead!)

Yep. probably a bit of epoxy. Should do no harm nor affect the swing unless highly sensitive to the sound!
