After having a bit of a slump from golf i am really pleased to be back into it thanks to a young golf leader course that i went to today. The course is all about people golf mad volunteering to go to tri golf festivals and such to teach littlle kids all about golf and help them improve thier golf. Anyone can ask to sign up and you can register your hours at www.golfvolunteers.org or you can speak to your club about it. The programe is a reward in itsslef but can lead to other great treats aswell :D

Glad you're getting back into it. Day 5 of a self imposed embargo from golf to try and chill from it and get my mojo back. Got a lesson HID booked (thinking she was helping) tomorrow so see what that brings and then maybe a game on Sunday. It would be a crime not to seeing the forecast

Forecast for Sunday is thunder storms. Not sure why it would be a crime not to play given the forecast.

Me? I'm playing in the medal. In my tin foil lightening proof suit.

Well had the lesson. He didn't really tell me anything I didn't expect. Basically the club is coming too far inside (watching on video) and I'm getting it trapped and my arms and hands are always playing catch up.

He got me to hit some shots with the feet together to quieten everyting down and wants me to almost feel like I coming over the top which of course in essence I'm not but will bring the club more in front of me. It was a decent lesson but I'm finding the OTT drill much harder than I thought and hit a few sh**ks. Anyone know what else I can do to stop my self getting trapped. I'm already turning the feet out to give myself room but its really in the transition and downswing that its all out of sequence
