Just thought I would share this with you. No doubt some of you are aware of these, but perhaps some aren't. Gaters cover the calf area and tops of your shoes. During this wet weather I have tried keeping my trousers clean using bicycle clips, didn't work, tucking my trousers in my socks, didn't work, and water proof trousers, which did work, but ruined my wp trousers and made my legs sweaty. I got the idea from a fellow member at my club, and they are absolutely brilliant. I have left a link below

You'd not be welcomed into our sweep with those monstrosity's on. Waterproof trousers are your friend.

Nooooooooooooo!

If you want to wear them then that is up to you, don't worry what anyone else thinks or says, me included.

If your waterproof trousers got ruined by wearing them in the wet then they weren't much cop in the first place. Get a decent breathable pair that don't get ruined in the wet.

Never understood trousers tucked into socks or bicycle clips and I don't think I have seen anyone on the course under 80 doing that

If they are the same colour as your trousers I don't suppose anyone would notice from a distance. But I'd expect a ribbing from my PP'S strolling on to the first with a pair of those bad boys on! Can't fault you, if they work for you and are comfortable crack on!

Hmm I wonder if you could buy the sleeve bits too?
Actually, get UA to make them in a few colours..you know, appeal to the masses...

I can't help but guess if they had Titelist or Callaway printed on them you would all want a pair LOL
