Always set up not to concede. Funnily enough when we played in the Europa League especially at home we played with a lot more freedom. He wasn't overly fussed if we stayed in or went out so they went out and played a much more attacking style.

How did you find Woy's style of play? In his short time at Anfield I find him very defensive. Does this ring true?

Less defensive than some previous Liverpool manager's imo, and a very shrewd tactician about what it takes to win a football match.

Yes you need a strong defense, but Liverpool have always built their success from the defense upwards.

How can you call anyone who followed rafa defensive

I'm only saying what I've seen. I'm not interested in a debate on Rafa. He's gone now so we look forward. Ofcourse the season's barely started so it's unfair to judge him yet and I'm not. Against Arsenal I thought we were awful in that first half. The Cole red card dictated how we played from there on.

The first half last night was dire. We seem to be just sitting back and letting the opposition have the ball and at Anfield that's unacceptable.

Sometimes the start of the season can be like that players trying to find there feet, they were not defensive second half when they could have been as they were down to 10 men

He seems to be doing a good job, got in some good players, kept some important ones and removeing some of the deadwood
