My friends and I are looking to go to France for 3 days in Sept, anyone have any recommendations of where to play/stay or would you try and find a decent deal in the UK.

The h/c range from 28 to 16, and there will be around 6 of us.

Any help please .

I concur with Murph. Been there, done that, been spoken down to. Plenty of places worth playing in the UK. And the money you'd save not having to get to France could be spent on playing a nicer course.

I lived in France for two years and loved it.

It was a villange near St Lo in Normandy, can't tell you about golf as i didn't play then, i found the people warm and friendly.

Does help if you speak the lingo.
