Fourball with 3 sets of clubs !!!!!

Don't think it's down to the pro to check whether they all have a set of clubs. How many times have you been asked when paying your fees if you have a bag with some clubs in it. I never have.

One day last year I opened my boot in the club car park to discover I hadnt put my clubs in the car! It wasnt a comp day so I shared a friends clubs. It worked out quite well and i beat him too

Do they allow 2s, 3s and 4s to play with the incorrect number of sets of clubs at your course?

My club states, under course etiquette- " each person playing the course must have his/her own golf equipment ".
But in the rules of golf equipment , in note 3 its not so clear it states " shared equipment is deemed to be the equipment of the player who last used , wore , or carried it.
BTW, I've never shared clubs , but I don't see a problem sharing as long as it doesn't cause delays.

But it's bound too, 2 players sharing both on different sides of the fairway following drives. Player who has the clubs plays his second shot with a 7 iron, then the other guy needs a 7 iron. This will cause delays as he's got to get the 7 iron then walk across.
Which is why each player should have his own clubs
