What's the weirdest thing you've found on the course??
No doubt a Heron dropped it on one of their early morning missions to clear someone's pond out, unless you've got a decent pond on your course.
bloody hell. A heron? Have to be a pterodactyl to
carry that. What you feeding your herons down there
Herons due to their expansive wing span (up to 2m) can carry huge amounts of fish or very large single Koi Carp, Orfe well in excess of their own body mass and weight. A Goliath Heron can stand 5ft tall! but you won't see one in the UK.
We have some of the biggest breeding colonies in Europe here in Coventry and the surrounding area's so when you look into the sky or on your roof tops around 6am or earlier if you have water nearby, it is not unusual to see many Herons lurking.
This little fella preferred my Mars bar to a squirrel at Cooden Beach

The back of the 13th at Wimbledon Common was a well know (apparently) gay hang out and so lots of used paraphernalia and literature. Bot of an eye opener for an impressionable teenager and definitely a hole I use to prefer coming up short on rather than over hitting the green
Would have been more impressive if he had re-opened the unused 1/2 way hut and was banging out bacon butties and coffee! that would have been resourcfulness to the extreme!
:rofl:a somalian refugee was found living in our unused half way hut..
Sounds like a seaside postcard from the 30's........The back of the 13th at Wimbledon Common was a well know (apparently) gay hang out and so lots of used paraphernalia and literature.
