Forumers Rides - what is your chariot of choice?

realgolfer UK, ford pumas are very good cars, especially the 1.8 litre version. Can you fit a set of golf clubs in the boot though? That would be my only issue.

98 Honda Accord Coupe 3ltr Auto. Old man's car with a young man's engine. Enormous boot for trollies and clubs. Toyed with the idea of changing as I've done 125K in it but would need to spend a lot of money to get anything better imo.

Your quite right Jon I recently traded my 02 plate 320 Sport Coupe in for the 525 and got £7,950 trade in with 72k on the clock.

Great fun to drive, but the 525 is something else.

However having got married last yr and with uber updating of the house needed, am considering chopping it in to release some cash.

Jon bit of advice, I'm looking at an 05 Volvo S40 tomorrow all the gadgets you could throw a stick at, 17k miles up for £10k.

Good deal or not????

Nice to see the guys getting on well with the older 3-series, they were good cars. The latest evolution is no better than a mondeo, which is a great car (3 last year for me) at a lower price.

Brendy even if i take the head cover off it wont go in, cant even get it in with a brolley on the bag. Good thing is though the rear seats are a 60/40 split so can still fit 3 bags and 3 ppl in with trolleys, just means i have to put the seats down and leave the parcel shelf out! :p

Ive just gotten my locker secured for next year, id been on a waiting list since joining start of 06 so boot size doesnt really matter as the clubs will be staying in the locker now. They might get the odd run to another club but generally my boot will now be clean and grass free. :D

Um, not really, you have to take out the two longest clubs and send 'em down into the space at the bottom of the rear seats (diagonally)!
That's why I keep an old, unbreakable japanese estate on the road.
