Following on from brendy's post showing off what is quite frankly motoring porn, I thought this would be interesting for those who like to go off-golf occassionaly.

My current ride, although for how long I have no idea is this C-Class

Drives silky smooth, ticks most of the boxes for me.

Yeah, thats where I work. All our pictures look like that.

Not a cynical ploy to advertise, we spend £20k a year on that.

I think people on here know me well enough to know that I don't use the forum to canvass business for either car-sales or our MOT & Repair Centre. What I do however, and have done for many forumers, is give them free advice and recommendations on cars, car repairs, warranties etc.

Ok ill repost mine in here more aptly! :D
My corporate motor collected new today.

I'm not sure this is chariot of choice....but it beats the hell out of 2 estate cars and a van!

Auction "punt", mostly stripped and rebuilt......better than you'd imagine.......unless you read evo magazine.

Cheers mwj........took me ages to choose the wheels, the old ford propeller wheels are in the garage, another lot for ebay if I get off my backside!

Here's some light relief after some golfing with tigress mini-rguk.

I've had a real one (ferrari) for a short while

What one did you have Dave?

I fancy a 328GTS as they are around for sub £25k and have a curvy look that is iconic to stallions of that era.

However before I can even entertain such a thing I have to pay for a wedding and have a couple more kiddies to go with my precious Olivia

Brendy. can you get private plates in you manor?

They can be a real investment if bought at the right money and there are loads of VRS combinations available.

I have 1, paid £249 for it and was offered £2k for it in september.

360 Spider.....

Found it on my drive after returning from a game of golf one Saturday. Wasn't there by sunrise next day.....!

So near and yet so far........think it was my neighbour's. :) :) :)

Yea private plates are fairly common place over here, to me though they are a luxury that I would maybe indulge in if I didnt have a list of bills the length of my arm which Im slowly cutting through.
The octavia is my work car so its company money though Im probably going to buy it when the contract is over and the cupra will be a bit long on the tooth.

Do you guys realise that this thread has shown that we are living proof of the existence of a North/South divide. I drive a Nissan Primera dCI on a 53 plate. Compared to you guys I am a complete pauper. But on my poor NHS salary it is the best I can do. I do however, have a private plate though :D

My chariot of choice would be an Aton DB5, reality is a bit different, Merc estate 300 turbo diesel on an S plate. Not quite such a north / south divide as people think.

Mind you, Mrs Mog has a T plate BMW M coupe, which although old, is a hoot to drive. Very high maintainance though (a bit like Mrs mog, I suppose).

I always buy second-hand Jaguars. I recently sold my 1994 XJ40 after having it for 7 years and taking it up to 180,000 miles. The aircon let me down in the end. I now have a 1996 XJ6 Executive which is currently in the bodyshop following a spin-off on black ice a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm reduced to using my wife's Mk.1 MR2, but I am currently looking at a 1995 X300 Sovereign on Ebay. Check it out on this number - 250205946112
