Forum website very jumpy/slow.

The last few weeks the forum webpage has been painfully slow to scroll up or down.I often load another forums website (not a golf one,don't worry) straight after and do not suffer this issue and I can have a few pages open at once and the forum one is the only site affected this way.I am using Firefox on a Mac if that helps? It gets so slow sometimes it can be really frustrating and difficult to navigate,can it be caused my the large amount of adverts? Anybody else have this issue?:angry:

Not withstanding any reply from GM themselves it may be worth looking at the thread directly under yours where the ads & ways to limit them are listed through ad blockers etc

(had the same problem with Firefox until I took the advice in that thread which fixed it in seconds)

Cool, it was the same for me

Ads are obviously an important revenue stream for websites and I've never chosen to block them before but when they impact site performance its natural that folks will look to remove them, sorry GM but it wasn't our fault!
