crikey big ads everywhere , where to look and where to ignore , imo doesnt look as good as old one , not a fan, but hey ho il get over it , think i remember feeling the same the last time it changed

same here seen this format elsewhere and preferred the old format but give it a couple of days and will be used to it.

If the big ads are a problem for anyone, or you're finding them distracting, you know there are a number of browser tools that can solve that right? The new forum looks great, especially with the ads removed. I don't normally block ads, but ads like the big TaylorMade one which insists on playing audio simply has to go.

Looks ok and I'm sure we'll all get used to the new look quickly.

I can't seem to find the settings button anymore :( and also if you try and open community, forum actions, quick links, it opens the expanded box underneath the TM advert which renders it useless.

Anyone find where there "mark all forums read" is on the mobile version ?

I like it apart from the MAHOOSIVE ads on the right hand side leaving very little space for posts. I understand GM have to have the ads to keep the page and mag going but the biggest ones are from GM about the mag and features so I'm pretty sure most, if not all, on the forum get the mag!

Didn't we have a similar "issue" the last time the forum had a big upgrade?

Is the type face smaller ? Either that or my eye sight has gone to pot since yesterday. Might still have mist in the eyes after todays round of course.

Mike, sorry but this is rubbish - massive backwards step.

I always surf on ipad and i've not only got 1/3rd of the width of the screen for the actual message - equally the rest is the forum stats of the poster and ads (generally for TM latest offering so at least they will change every month) but nonetheless not what I want to doninate the screen.

Not a happy GM camper I'm afraid.

You can switch to the mobile version whilst on the I Pad and cuts all the adverts etc and makes it bigger

Looks great on my mobile, now for the functional test

Not so good on the iPad I'm afraid. In fact it's horrible.

Are the ads supposed to follow you down the page as you scroll? If so they don't meaning most of the screen is just wasted white space.
