First of all, credit to the folk from the magazine for making these available on here, but why oh why does the overwhelming majority of them have to be based in the South / London area?

I understand logistically it's easier for staffers (and suppliers?) to get there, but come on guys, spread the love around the country please :)

Because that is where the manufacturers are based or want to meet. Because that is where GM are based and, aside from the inconvenience, travelling costs in expenses, overnight stays, time out of the office, food and drink etc soon pile up for what is a business.

If you had to pay for access to the forum, then you could posisbly ask the question. But as it's totally free, I dont see any room for complaint:)
Their forum, their rules and choices. Cant argue with that I'm afraid.:)

WoW, a thread complaining about the location of an event / opportunity that often results in a forum member or two attending a day free of charge, being looked after and then given a load of stuff for free.

Perhaps you should write to Callaway, Ping, Taylor Made, Footjoy, Under Armour, Galvin Green etc etc and inform them of the awful inconvenience they are causing you by not allowing you the opportunity to have free stuff without the trouble of leaving your street.

because no one cares what northerners think enough to ask them to review anything....unless it's chips & gravy :whoo:

This question is precisely why the 'forum opportunity' are locked by the staffers straight away after creation.

Unfortunately for those up north it's simple logistics.

Or Bloa'ers (there's a silent 'T' in there!) and a few other 'delicacies'!

Or, further North, Deep Fried Mars Bars, purchased from a place that also does F&C, Pizza and 'Chinese'!

On the other hand, my favourite Fish Restaurant in the world (Fishers in the City in Thistle Street if you are interested!) is in Edinburgh!

I wasn’t including the scotch in the above. They would make an excellent review panel with their dour sensibility, and relentless objectivity.

It may make grim viewing though ;)

They are welcome up to the highlands to do a club fitting day whenever they want :D
Treat them to a few drams after!!

Be very careful !

Mike and his team might be mid handicap golfers but they are low single figure boozers 😁

Er!.....

Their (the Scots) reviews might well be simply 'offal'!

I think some of you lot should join some american forums and stick your name down for a few of their opportunities ;)
