although the OP has indicated a May date, would it make more sence to see if this could be arranged for April 29 the day of the Royal Wedding.

I'd suggested May or later purely as our Course is at its best then, as everywhere I guess.

I recall this year, it didnt start blooming until well into the season, and April can be indifferent weather too.

Give it a while and we'll review.

Hi all,
we did try and arrange a 'mini' Forum meet at Brough late in 2010, before I cocked up on the date etc, but just wondered how many might be up for it this summer if I can get a deal out of the Club etc ?

Forget early summer, the course never really blooms till May, but with our new 'Master Greensman' at the helm, I think its gonna look superb this summer.

Macster, I have a mate who is a memeber there. Chris 'Dolly' Dawson, he's a signalman on the railways and eats breadrolls for England, a right bandit off of 12!! Always saying how great Brough is in the summer
