Forum birthday and golfing success..

There is a lot of research that indicates birthmonth and success probability. Like any statistics it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt..

So i had a bit of dig around the forum calender to see what dates are blessed with Forumers birthday.. My noddy research shows these dates have more than 10 forumers share their (proclaimed) birthdays.

10 Jan -- 11
1 Feb -- 10
1 Mar -- 12
3 Mar -- 12
4 Apr -- 11
6 Apr -- 11
27 Apr -- 10
8 May-- 10
June...0
July..0
Aug..0
Sept..0
8 Oct -- 10
11 Oct -- 11

18 Dec --11
24 Dec -- 11

I am assuming 1st Jan is a made up date as it may b the default date when joining. So a tie between 1st & 3rd March for most popular golfing birthday.

It might be interesting to see if the Mods can run a report to find popular birth month and correlate that to handicaps. You never know what you will find in the data.

No the 36 was not the official one, but the pro made it for me to get me to play

Not really.. by giving large (unofficial) 'handicaps', he has got a lot of beginners sign up to his 'Adult Improver Games' (9 hole games). I have seen 40+ HCs. It is a great way to introduce new comers. A lot of us have now graduated to the main playing course. I think more pros should do it
