Bog off craw...i'm still rubbing sleep out my eyes!

Ok then, sub out JezzE and bring in Science Boy.

Bob can give me a lesson on the way round.

Science boy has an identical handicap and it could be a true test of golf, gladitorial style.

MikeH can bankroll the 3-4 days of practice and competition at Turnberry...would make a great piece for the mag IMHO!

Losttheplot,
I could sell him some more golf clubs, and I'd play wth my Mizzies just to wind him up... :D

Justone,
Cracking bloke, but never played with him

Smiffy,
Top nob...played at the same meets but never in the same 4 ball

Probably Craw, SS2, and John_Findlay. Met them all (Craw only briefly - may be a good thing), but never played golf with them.

But they'd have to come down here, my golf doesn't travel well.

Craw, Smiffy and JF.
I can swear like a filthy dock worker back at Craw (Im no angel :) Hope you can all drink though.I imagine the banter would be great. fuelled by a couple pints of the black stuff.

Did I mention Ballyliffin smiffy, craw and JF? ther eis still room .. :D

Bobmac - We have similar golfing experiences in Lincolnshire and I'd love to play a round with him at Belton Park where I used to be a member and Bob used to teach to see how a pro would approach the course.

GB72 - A lincolnshire lad like m'self and seems like an all round top bloke.

SteveK - Seemed like a top bloke when I met him at Wentworth and we could talk about our R11's all day :D).

Notable mentions for those who picked me: Losttheplot (not picked for his Nike obsession :D) and HomerJ (would have made the list for the same reason he gave me, but his infamous pre-shot routine took him out of the running :D)

As others have said, I'd be happy playing golf with any of the guys (and gals) on here...Decent group, looking forward to St. Pierre, Blackmoor and Beau.

You know better than to trade your Nike clubs in!! You know there's nothing else on the market any better...!!! :)

gcd, good golfer, seems like a good bloke, and we can play on his course !!

Steve1969,as i don't want to upset him, or he will withdraw his invitation to play Scotscraig ! so might have a close game ?

Bob Mac, not that i like him, he seems a pain in the ar*e, but so i can tell him where to shove his V-Easy after another three putt on St Andrews greens. :( :( :( :( :D

Would mention that i have played with the likes of Smiffy Justone, Leftie, so fortunately would not have to play with them again. :D

Can't wait for the follow up thread, who would you not want to play a fourball with on the forum.    ;)

Scupperd your plan, last weekends 40-120 yard game collapse plus some other poor showings means I am looking set to finish Feb at 15.0 on the dot.

Just working in some lesson changes so back down a few points very soon I bet!

My forum 4-ball (mainly Lincolnshire of orgin such as myself or of residence there!)

Wherditgo- Our games are going hand in hand, both had a stella 2010 season and now are going into 2011 hoping to better it as our games improve.

Aztecs27- so we can 'compare' our MP-57s

bobmac- He is just so damn popular

HickoryShaft- Nice to meet someone from the club of my youth and chat about the old place and the wonderful bacon and saussages it has! (Grimsby Golf Club btw)

If I had not played with SyR already that top fellow would have made the list.

I would love to play the guy who was selling the fancy irons and bragged about his wealth.

Not a four ball ... just me and him .... oh, and my 3iron.

Are you sure that you can handle a 3 iron??

Chris

Aztecs27 - really nice fella for a tractor boy and he'd understand every word i said by the end of our round :D :D

Ethan - really helpful when i've asked him questions on shafts etc, would be good company.

Chris661 - because i'm a begging bugger and looking for a game at Portsalon when i'm on holiday in June :D

Venue - Royal Ascot just to see how much of a goat track it is and to see if its worth £1300 a year :) :D

I'd like to play with some of the guys who've been around here a while but I've not been lucky (!!) enough to play with yet, though I've met.

Murphthemog ; he's a shoe-in. Good sense of humour. Good one liners.... yet we disagree on everything. I could laugh at his stack and tilt technique when we go in a huff with each other on the 2nd!

Brendy ; Met & chatted at Nairn and from the photos I've seen I'm keen to find out how he doesn't fall over at the top of the backswing! Again, a good bit of banter, I'm sure.

The Smifster ; An institution. Don't even need to give his proper name. Cracks me up. Say no more.

I think that would make for a fine day oot. I've played with many of the "well kent" faces on here and they're all a joy to be on the course with so I don't see why these three would be any different. Oh, I believe I'm playing with Bunkers in April and I was always keen to do that, too, so that's another likely lad off the list.

Bob, I'd be ashamed to let you see me chip in real life!

Ballyliffen, I would have loved nothing more than two rounds at Ballyliffen however I'm already committed to Machrihanish and Patricks Highland Fling. As much as I would love too I can't do them all.

Is what I'd come back too!

I'd certainly miss the kids!
