Form at last!!

After a few .1s back in recent weeks and the handicap creeping from 8 up to 8.6 I have found a bit of form

I had 2 decent front nines at Ballyliffin only to collapse on the back and have struggled to find any sort of consistency for 18 holes

But all this changed on thursday in our midweek stableford, when I knocked it round in 74 blows for a winning score of 42 points and a cut of a whole shot so back down to 8 for todays comp and lo and behold I shot 75.

Best thing about the two rounds was the consistency, 13 pars on thursday and 12 today so good steady golf with very few mistakes.

So im set now for another good cut and a new handicap of 7

Sorry for bragging but had to tell someone as HID doesnt really get it

What is this word form you talk about. Same old, same old for me today in the monthly stableford. Good ball striking but couldn't put a score together. A few unforced errors and then concentration went walkabout on 11 and 12 so the back nine was hugely dented. Not sure I'll be much trouble at Camberley tomorrow or troubling the prize table at Blackmoor

Got cut .6 for yesterdays round so now off 7 exactly

Thats 3 cuts in a row and a total of 1.8 off in a week

Dont count those chickens yet Euan, theres loads of chances for those dreaded .1s between now and August. Looking forward to it
