Last summer/autumn i really enjoyed heading out after work to play a few holes (could get about 12 to 14 holes in most nights and a full round on rare occassions) when the course wasnt mobbed,no weekend golfers out hacking up in front of you,no idiots firing balls in your direction and not bothering to shout FORE.

Had my first evening round, well started at 3pm but went into early evening, of the year last night and really enjoyed it. Not even the 25mph winds, constant rain and being +7 after 3 holes ruined it.

Looking forward to it being light past 9pm again!

Playing 13 tonight at 5.15 with the usual guys.

First evening golf this year. Looking forward to it. Especially as I ran out of stuff to do at work at 8.15 this morning. It's going to be a long day.

Was down the practice ground last night looking for a swing that doesn't hurt my back. Not found one yet though. Still can't wait to get out on the course.

im with you bazza, had my first one tuesday. The two lads i was meant to play with couldnt get away from work so it was me on my own, and bloody great it was too, went off at 5:30, no one else on the course and with teh exception of a +4 up our 3rd through no concentration, a pretty tidy round was had. playing a few extra shots here and there i only got 16 in before i walked off, think i was +10 for 16,

its now an every tuesday thing, the range can take a back step.

Was out on Tuesday for 9 and really enjoyed it. Definitely going to play at least 1 midweek round a week whenever possible.

Always seem to play better in the evenings aswell, not sure why that is.
