Don't ask but I need to find a good place to be properly fitted for some golf shoes in Herts/Cambs.
Do Footjoy (Hunts) themselves do it or can someone recommend a store/pro shop where I will find a good selection and fitting (a la Clarks!!!).

Many thanks

Mate of mine went to Brampton and was lazer fitted for some classics by Titleist.

They never fitted properly. Always gave him blisters. Not good.

Best bet is to try a few pairs. But wear them for a while in the shop. I tried some eccos once. Would have bought them too, but got chatting to the shop assistant (I'm a sucker for a good looking girl)and after 20 minutes of chat the shoes were killing me.

Had dryjoys for many years but feet changing shape!!!
Need somwhere where a good choice is available to compare and get the 'feel'.

Not the answer to your question but something to think about!
I've had two pairs of Dryjoys. The first I got in the correct size for me 9 wide fit. They were excellent from the start and fitted so well, but after a couple of months the leather softened and stretched and now they are miles too big. I have to wear a really thick pair of socks with these now and only use them in winter.

The newer pair I got in a 9 and just wore them around the house and watching TV in them for a few months. They still fit perfectly after a year. Its not always as simple as them fitting in the shop.
