Football fixtures

So which numpty at the Premier League sorts these out? Two sets of back to back home fixtures before the New Year, one sandwiching a Champions League fixture, so potentially 3 home games in 8 days, and then 2 in 3 days at Christmas, 26th & 28th versus Swansea City & Liverpool. So just when our public transport system shuts down for its winter break, the Premier League expect 2 sets of fans to travel half the length of the country for these games. Absolutely no consideration for the fans; what happened to the Boxing Day derbies to help the fans? Oh yeah, i forgot, they can't sell them all to Sky if they are on at the same time!!

Been the same for a few years now, we've had midweek Sunderland and Middlesbrough away when you can't get trains back so they expect you to drive amd take holiday days and then they put the furthest away trips back-to-back midweek and the following Saturday, no thought process what-so-ever. Festive fixtures have got worse over the last few years and I think they (FA) are being dictated to by Sky rather than having the traditional derby (local) fixtures.

Your almost penalised for being successful in any domestic or European cup campaigns the further you go as fixtures just get so crammed, never a problem for Arsenal though ;)
