So which numpty at the Premier League sorts these out? Two sets of back to back home fixtures before the New Year, one sandwiching a Champions League fixture, so potentially 3 home games in 8 days, and then 2 in 3 days at Christmas, 26th & 28th versus Swansea City & Liverpool. So just when our public transport system shuts down for its winter break, the Premier League expect 2 sets of fans to travel half the length of the country for these games. Absolutely no consideration for the fans; what happened to the Boxing Day derbies to help the fans? Oh yeah, i forgot, they can't sell them all to Sky if they are on at the same time!!

Not a bad start fixture wise for Everton, new era under Martinez but could have had a harder start ..

Fans have never been given any consideration whatsoever as to the fixtures so this season's debacle are not a surprise to me.

The only positive is stoke at home 1st game, easy 3pts ;)

At least the FA Cup Final is the last game of the season again, as it should be.

no interest to the tricky trees anyway....

seriously its been moved due to the uefa requirements in the contract for using wembley for the champions league final.
it maybe last game but i somehow doubt its back to 3pm kick off!

The fixtures will never be fan friendly and im quite surprised by our run in was expected a couple of deciders in april just for prime time sky.
Great theyve announced them now just got to wait another month or so before they all change for TV........

Apparently the new Sky deal means that EPL clubs could let fans in FREE and still have money over compared with the previous deal. Staggering. But I won't be holding my breath whilst I wait for ticket prices to fall as a consequence.

We've got Hearts at home first game. I wonder what sort of team that they'll bring along. Being their first game and starting at -15pts I'm expecting Jambos will bring a BIG support along.

Also shocking Celtic asking for (and getting) their 2nd game of the season postponed because they have a money-spinning friendly against Liverpool arranged. Sod that!

See the final paragraph of the OP

To be fair fans travelling is not even considered if so there would be no Monday night fixtures or try getting from Newcastle to Southampton for a 12.45 lunch time kick off. There are very few fixtures you can travel too by public transport as an away fan.
