Went to my first game at Elm Park in the 1969/70 season. We beat Barrow 6-2. Took 15 years just to get into the old 2nd division, and 36 years to get to the Premiership.

Didn't Brum win the Carling Cup recently ?

Two League Cup wins and one runner-up, three FA Cup semi-finals, Leyland DAF Trophy, Auto Windscreens Shield and eight promotions in 56 years.

MetalMickie, I've only endured it for 22 years, but I've seen enough of promotions and relegations, and our European Tour under Chrisy Hughton. University has dried up my football fund, so I'm under a financial banning order for the last twelve months. I was a season ticket holder in block 13 for a few years. Can't wait for Carson to jog on, and we will back in the good times!!

Well no one has said anything about being spoilt for success but it's certainly a lot more than some teams

Forgot we won the Simod Cup, and qualified for the Watney Cup in my first year of supporting.:thup: Got beaten in three play off finals as well.
