Can only assume it’s from poor technique when using my driver, seems all the pressure and force is exerted in my big toe when pushing off through the downswing onwards.

Been on going for a while now. Can anyone relate ?

Walked off the course with a slight limp yesterday which is all around the big toe joint and by far the worst it’s been since I’ve started playing the game.

Any advice on how to sort it out would be appreciated.

Only foot injury I've had from golf is when I knocked my putter against my ankle. Worst pain imaginable
I did that once with my sand wedge!
Never done it again, i agree one of the worst pains.🙈

to the op.
Phisio told me these new spikeless shoes can cause big toe pain because the soles are to pliable.
They also have no heel so the sole of your foot is flattened this stretches the tendon going to your big toe.
Get a diagnosis quick .
The quicker the better don’t just ignore it.
