Front fogs - just a fashion thing, usually youngsters thinking they look cool around town. I don't necessarily agree that they are a dazzle hazard in most circumstances. I just look at them in the same way I look at a clapped out Fiesta or similar with "privacy" glass and rear spoiler.....and think "tosser".

Going back a lot of years, but sure I recall Ford having to withdraw and replace a load of marketing materials as they referred to "driving lights" rather than fog lights.

Over the last 40+ years I have driven well over a million miles (30,000 pa at least) and during that time I have seen many idiots pull many stunts that they, no doubt, thought were funny but, in reality, were nothing but dangerous.

So tell me why should I have thought the remark was a joke?
