Just got back from Orlando and thought I would 'briefly' share my views on the golf.
Best website to book through - either the website for the course itself or 'golfnow.com' - some excellent deals

Now the courses we played and my views:
Highland Reserve - very friendly, not particularly challenging but in good condition. Paid $45 - ask for a 'bounce back' ticket if you want to play it again - we did as it was 5 mins from where we were.

Champions Gate - ,The National' - o.k. but over-rated and over-priced - wouldn't go back

Orange County National - has 2 courses, Panther Lake - played it twice - and Crooked Cat. Great courses particularly Panther, and in exceptionally immaculate condition. Booked direct on their website on the twilight rate - $31 each (full price is about $80)

Sanctuary Ridge - booked through golfnow - a great course, each hole is totally different. $29

Golf Gear - no cheaper than the U.K. unless you go to the Adidas Outlet store on one of the Retail outlet sites where shirts were $20 and ladies skirts & 3quarter trousers were about the same.

Edwin Watts stores are great to look round but prices about the same as here.

All told, a great experience!

Glad you enjoyed it, it's a cracking place to play golf. Golfnow is a good website but sometimes direct contact with the course themselves can yield some deals also.

Panther Lake hosts PGA tour Q school, lovely track.

Never played Sanctuary Ridge so will give it consideration this year.

Been to Orlando before and heading over again in May but have never bothered playing while I was there previously but definitely going to get at least one game this year so thanks for the info.

Valentino- ref the other post we were chatting about Florida on, Im heading out on the 5th so will unfortunately be back home by the time you get there so no chance of getting a game :(
