I've just bought 2 pairs of these with my latest purchase of Nike trousers and was wondering does anyone else wear them? If so are they any good? I got 2 pairs for £14, I've never wore golf socks so I'm looking forward to even more comfortable rounds hopefully .:)

Are they the ones that are specifically marked for left and right feet? If so, I got a pair from FJ last year for taking part in a glove survey. They're really comfortable to wear.

Good to hear, as they must be the most expensive socks I've ever bought lol normally £10 each but on offer, wouldn't be happy if they had holes in after 2 rounds.

Are they white and can you pull them up to knee length in the summer when wearing shorts and look a bit of a tit when you do it? If you can't then they aren't proper golf socks ;)

Part of me thinks £14 for 2 pairs of socks, they saw you coming. I can't see how golfing socks can be much different to any other pair of socks. But it would not surprise me if someone soon starts offering to custom fit golfing socks to ensure the 'maximum traction and distance', or whatever marketing departments say nowadays.

Bought them online so wasn't feed a load of cock and bull, golfs a very long walk so I thought I would treat my feat to something a bit better than some next specials or where ever my mother bought my christmas socks from lol

I have a few pairs of FJ's and they are very comfy.
But I tend to wear the Nike Dri-Fit basketball socks, and yes to the unbeliever's they truly are different from say normal socks. The Dri-Fit's are designed to air and wick away sweat. Another bonus is the compression fit.

I got a pair last year aswell via the survey, very comfy, I have a dodgy foot (fallen met arch) so suffer at the end of a round but these are really good and I certainly felt the difference after 18 holes. Just a shame my lad wore them and put a hole in em with his big feet grrrr

I wear running socks called 1000 mile socks. Double lined the you never get blisters, über comfy but pricy at a tenner a pair.. Worth it IMHO, nothing worse than sore feet.

£14 for two pairs of socks !!!!
We walk 4ish miles over soft ground,i cant see the need for expensive socks, better to get yourself a pair of memory foam insoles for a couple of quid.
