I've just come back from holidays and couldn't wait to get my hands on my new mp59's so I took the misses to Direct Golf, got her a bucket of balls and a demo club so she could hit some in the bay next to me and I coUld play with my new beauty's.
I worked from 6-9 iron, then 5-4 and then PW, just to get a feel for the difference from my mx950's. I had a bit of a rusty swing and saw a few of my shots leaking right but when I hit the clubs well they were brilliant and hitting bad was manageable. One thing I really noticed in the irons was the spin, when using my short irons the ball was hitting the ground and stopping fairly quickly, most noticeable on the 100 yard green (fake green) normally my old clubs would hit the green and take a big bounce off of the green, but these were fab.. Hit the green and then spin to a complete stop a couple of feet from the hole!
I think I need to get used to using them as they are very different but looking forward to taking them to the course tomorrow for a greensomes comp, hopefully give them a good going through.
