First game of links golf in over 20 years...

I was a member of a good links club last going off before I had a year out and found when there's no wind and your driving well you can really score well.but it's vital to keep the ball in play at all costs .

It'll be a challenge, test your shot making and short game and will be tricky. I enjoy links golf but rarely get the opportunity these days to play it. Always beats me up but I enjoy it

We used to really enjoy the New all these years back but other than the 9th I can hardly remember a hole.

Looking at the card the first few are fairly short par 4s and reckon if they are down wind may be drivable???

You can get real close to the first 2 holes from your tee shot but I think you might struggle old boy.

The reason you are first out is because you can show off your new jacket and tie in The Clubhouse for the longest time!

It could've been worse, we're playing Ladybank on Thursday and that's J&T before the game also, thankfully I never put in for that match.
