first eagle !

so i went down for a quick round tuesday afternoon with a few mates , an started off awful , i was +11 thru 7 and had given up on making a score.

then on the 8th hole (483yds) a par five i hit driver , hybrid on to the green and sunk a 40 foot putt for my first eagle ! then i went on to also birdie the 9th

then after a good back 9 ,i ended up shooting 84 , so it just goes to show , never give up no matter how bad your playing.

I started golf at a similar age to you.

I had a similar handicap as you as a teenager.

I got my first eagle last year.

I'm 46.
